Does anyone know the thickness of the turnbuckles used on the 1/10 scale Traxxas platforms?

I have no idea / following / the replies above.

All that I can say is that the "Traxxas Performance" "fancy" Aluminum turnbuckles/tie rods are complete junk. Super thin aluminum that snap right on if you run into a curb, land wrong or get caught on something. - Stay with the steel ones imo. I can't remember where we had this discussion but taxxas said it was some kind of tough aluminum, lies. Lol.

Nhhh
All those fancy blue turnbuckles broke almost immediately.
My best luck was with steel turnbuckles that were 5mm longer than stock. The extra thread overlap prevents stripping.

@WickedFog informed me the same after I bought a few. They are on discontinued shelf queens so we're good there. I haven't tried any yet but I am going with these people for titanium. I have a few lunsfords but they are out of business and scarce nowadays.

Thanks to all. I was just looking for cheapest 57~59mm test subject. I would never consider using aluminum for a turnbuckle on an off-road RC. The stock steel turnbuckles, from the 1/10 Traxxas platforms, seems to meet my doomsday prepping need.
