About a week ago a friend let me drive his nitro truck which was my first time doing so. I loved it. Now I have been looking to buy one and found one a T-maxx on craigslist for $200.

It's not a bad deal if it runs. As with anything used via online purchase it is buyer beware! If you aren't comfortable with used a new 2.5 is just a tad over $329.

A 1.5 is old school. Question is: is it something you feel comfortable putting up $200 for?

I wouldn't want to give up 200 for something that is out of date and it sounds to me like it is... might just spend a little more for a newer one, or see if i can get this one for way cheaper

I posted on the other thread as well. I don't want to disuade you from doing what you want, but I would hate to see you get taken or get something disappointing. That truck is 10 years old...

BTW one of the guys on here is selling a really good Savage for $300. If its up your alley I will try to find the link...
