I can't say for sure since I can't see any info on the engine you're looking at but the only engine I'm familiar with that's called Big Red is a Dynamite .28 big block engine. It won't work in a stock T-Maxx though.

Yeah, but i think that your lhs can do the power up for you. I'm in Canada and my lhs will power up for you and then deal with Traxxas on his own.

what? thats [redacted] awesome! can you give me you hobby shops phone number? i bet they are set up through horizon or tower, and i want to get my hobby shop in ottawa set up to do that (looks at shelf with 4 dead trx motors on it).

My trx died and bought the Dynamite Big Red. Havewnt looked back since. WAY too much power for the truck but a blast to drive

Here is my new problem

I've got another problem, I have bought the new engine, but it's some parts that won't fit, like this one:

You will need the 2.5/3.3 throttle bellcrank and associated linkage to convert from a rotary carb to a slide valve carb.

You will also need to move/rotate the throttle arm on the slide valve from the down position approx 90° to connect the throttle linkage from the bellcrank to the throttle arm.
