Was out running tank number 3 through and getting up to 1/2 throttle and poof died. I believe a connecting rod broke and I have no idea how. Off to the warranty department.
 
The connecting rod on the TRX 3.3 is a known weak-link in this hobby. The good news is that Traxxas has their power-up program and will sell you a new 3.3 at a reduced cost for you shipping them just your old engine (You'll want to keep the carb and the like).

It's a brand new truck not a week old. They had better replace it for free. Wasn't even broke in.
 
Wasn't sure how old it was. They may just require a copy of your receipt in that case.
