Alright y'all. I don't want to pay the huge premium for a DJI, so I've been trying to find an alternative. I think I have! The Traxxas Aton! It has everything a basic DJI has, and for half the price. Does anyone here have experience with the Aton? If so, how was it?
Also, can they run on 2s?

Yeah, as mentioned Traxxas doesn't make that one anymore. Watch some YouTube vids for DJI competitors. There are some decent ones out there for reasonable prices.

Have you flown before at all? If not, I'd buy a super cheap drone to learn to fly on first. Even one of the tiny indoor ones will improve your skills big time.

I bought an Estes Protox nano drone for my first. That thing was so peppy and twitchy I had to fly it outside because even in the large main area of my apartment I banged into stuff.

Shortly thereafter I grabbed this guy

That thing was so easy to fly, after getting it down I went back to the micro and I could fly it indoors pretty easily.

I have never flown it, but the question would be, can you get parts?

Sure have. That's why I'm looking into the Aton. My current drone is busted, so I'm looking into drones that I can get parts for.

I had to learn outside too. I can fly the mini inside ok now but still not trick flying. I think I need a new battery for 1 of my minis. Prob better to just buy a new one too! 👍
