Traxxas 3.3 conversion

So now that my nitro sport is down what and all do I need to do a 3.3 conversion? I know a engine, but do I need the upgrade kit, and what else do I need? Thanks

You will need the upgrade kit, even though you'll only use a few parts from it, it's cheaper to get the kit and have spare parts. That's all that's required but I suggest getting the rear HD shafts from the Slash 4x4, the stock ones are a pretty weak and you'll twist them with the added power of the 3.3.

Where can I get the slash axels? I look for them bit can't find them

6852x is the part #, your LHS should be able to get them or any online hobby shop.
