RC Driving Style
Whe you guys spin your spur pear does it engage and spin the wheels. It does this on my savage but onn my maxx it does not. I think this is a problem.
 
Nope thats normal if you still have reverse in your maxx, and not in the Savage. If you do the foc in your maxx it will do the same thing.
 
If the maxx is stock and has reverse, it takes more speed than spinning it with your hand to make it go. If it doesn't have reverse and has a FOC instead (forward only conversion), then the wheels should spin when you turn it one way but not the other way.
 
Hey man I had the same question when I got mine !!! It hits a certain rpm and it launches kind of like a stall converter in a hotrod!!
 
idk. Whe i had it out today it would rev realy high and not go but 10 mph a wot. When you roll your maxx does the spur move? I put a drill on my slipper nut and spun for a while realy fast and got nothing. The only thing that spun was the gears you can see when you pull the rubber tab up right beside the slipper and the shaft that comes out of the tranny to the of the brake disk. Could possibly be locked in neutral in between ist and reverse?

I have to fix this.
 
Your internal one way may be shot. How much fuel have you run through the trans? how many gallons?

I know I had to replace mine around 4 gallons because the one way was constantly slipping.
 
The tranny only has about a half gallon on it.
