ok, my local track said it should work, i have one i can try, needing more is the issueI use the following "trade-in" program to get them for under $60ea:

Of the 3 times I've used the service, they have always invoiced me and shipped the units without requiring me to send anything into them. I never contacted anyone directly, just paid the invoice and they shipped the following day.
Very important to understand what version decoder your track is using and what you are running:

Don't know about "cheap", but I'd probably let it go for $74 shipped.

They track owner acted like he prefers them, I took it as the old style would work, I’ll talk to him Tuesday and get back with youkeep in mind that the DP PT's won't work at tracks running the newer 4.5 decoders per my post above.
I provided a reference to get brand transponders from MyLaps for $60 which are compatible with all versions of RC4 decoders. I may have confused you with the "trade in program" where you don't actually have to send anything to be traded, they are essentially selling them for $60 new.
If your club is using an older RC4.4 decoder then the DP PT will work perfectly fine.
Yes, they hold their value pretty well.thats about what they go for on ebay, ill be in touch
