RC Driving Style
hey guys. so i just bought a tmaxx 3.3 used. i', kinda new to this whole thing. i got it out today for the first time and drove it. i noticed a few problems.
problem #1 when i'm driving it seems the steering get stuck and it starts turning by itself. should i get a new servo?

problem #2 i can't get out of 1st gear. it just won't even engage.i pull the trigger all the way and it just starts bogging the motor when it peaks. should i tighten the adjustment screw inside the transmission? or should i losen it?

thanks

The tranny won't shift unless the engine is tuned. As for the steering, take the horn off of the servo and make sure it moves freely. If it does, then your servo probably needs replaced. If the wheels are hard to move back and forth by hand, your pillow ball caps are probably too tight. Look straight at the carriers(part that the a-arms attach to) through the rims. You'll see a large hex screw(5mm) and a small hex screw(2.5mm). The large ones are the caps. You want them all tight enough to where there isn't any slop, but you don't want any binding either. Read the tuning guide in the engine forum. Sounds like your a little lean.
