Ok first of all i dont have allot of time to work on my truck but its nothing special .15 almost stock everything aluminum frame and A arms just a few other extras but i still has the stock tranny and it wont shift into 2nd gear and it also shutters b 4 it goes to take off unless i just take off full bore I've tried to adjust it out so that the clutch will catch but nothing that i do seems to work what do i need to do or do i just need to get a new tranny

Most shifting problems are due to the engine being out of tune. If it's boggy at take off it sounds like the LSN (low speed needle) is a little on the rich side. That can keep the engine from producing enough RPM's to engage 2nd gear. Try leaning out the LSN 1/16 of a turn at a time, but keep a close eye on the engine temps.

I'm guessing this is a T-Maxx 2.5? If so, the twitching and likely the shifting issues can be fixed with a FOC (forward only conversion).

ok so i dont really understand how the RPMs has anything to to with the shifting. the motor will top out just fine and it really is fast for just having first gear but do i need to order new insides or can i even do a thing like that , how much would a new gear set be not the housing but just the gears themselves let me know thanx

Oh and i forgot its just a .15
