I need some info on Traction compound from people that know more than I do.
First off I have just recently started carpet racing at a new local track, and after hours of reading I understand foam tires what I don’t understand is the "Juice" as some guys put it.
I purchased some stuff from Team Trinity called Zip Grip 2 (I think) It smells/reeks of wintergreen gum.
My first question, Does TC make the tire softer or is it like a glue that makes the outer surface sticky, Does it wear off.
Can you add to much over a period of time. Will this stuff work on rubber tires.
One last Q's is their a way of permanently softening rubber tires.
I tried asking a few guys at the track and they didn’t have a real good explanation.
Thanks
