Anyone here ever tried Tower's packs? I'm not looking for anything top of the line and I know that Tower's battery packs aren't the highest quality. But, they're cheap in price.... Anyone used them before? They're not going to last 10 charges and die out will they?

My nephew has a Radio Shack Humm Vee RC truck and I bought him three Tower Hobbies 1500Mah NiCd 6cell stick packs and it works for him no problem. Even taught the little bugger how to charge them himself. Amazing how quickly a 6 year old can learn something when they are really into it. Hes abused the hell out fo those packs and they have lasted him almost a year of playing with that truck every weekend.

I wouldnt recommend them to anyone SERIOUS into RC but they seems to work fine.

I have one of there packs and they work fine. They work just like my other packs without a problem.

Plus, if you are a Tower Hobbies Member & order a minimum of $100, you can put this code in (EF1039) and get a FREE 7.2V 1500mah Pack.

Later....:mex:

Dl thanks for that

[move] code[/move]
I will have to use that!!!!!!

WHat he said. ACtually, I've been VERY happy with them for the price (compared to a plehtora of brands of expensive cells on the market). They're not hardcore race cells but I'm not a hardcore racer...lol.

If they did die after "ten charges", I'm pretty sure Tower would replace them.
