Where can I get Torx headed fasteners in metric sizes (M3, M4, M5) in sensible quantities to rebuild my buggies?

I am in the UK so a US supplier that will ship via airmail to the UK would be good.

Also, I have seen some cars with shaped washers that let you use flat head countersunk screws where you would normally use a cap head or button head screw. The washers appear to be anodised aluminium. If I could get some of these washers too that would be great.

are they really torx heads? I kknow what torx screws are. Are you sure that they are not Allen type screws be it metric or standard?

They are called Countersunk Washers, accordingly. I would like to find some quantity of the M3 size myself, but they seem to be kinda hard to come by?

You can get M4 ones in 10 packs from GS at horizon hobby's site. They are like a buck I think.

I think these are the type of washers you are referring to. I beleive Tower DOES ship to the UK.

Thanks for that. Yes, I want to change out to Torx fasteners.

The countersink washers are more of a convenience than a necessity. I can still use cap/pan/button head screws where a CSK flat head is not required.

niggle I can supply you torx fasteners and screws from UK, I've replaced all the metric screws of my cars for torx screws, they are quite expensive but they don't strip, they really worth what they cost.

Found a UK supplier for the anodized countersink washers:

Midland Helicopters

They have various sizes and colours, most importantly for me they have 3mm washers in purple!

Neat, I'll have to find someone that sells them in the US. I like the red ones =)
