has any one ever used the fironi torsen diffs what are the pro's & con's i have a gs pro storm was thinking of changing my center and front diffs any input would be appreciated thanks

I have deep pockets and that's a lot more than I would like to spend. What am I saying. BS, if I wanted them I'd buy them just as I have done throughout my life buying whatever I fancied at the moment.

In short, they simply transfer power to the wheels with traction, when your car breaks loose. That is what is supposed to happen anyway. With a regular diff, you get your power going to the wheels without traction, therefore losing more and more of it. It's definately a noticeable change after you switch, but its a matter of preference - some like it, most dont...

Personally I think its a nice way to throw away money - but hey, if you've got enough to do that, why the hell not give it a shot?

thanks guys for the input i only race the car the only time i run it off the track is to break in new motor. i just put the rb ws7II on it that is why i was thinking of going with the fioroni diffs

Damn Humboldt! You always have the links on the buggy jiz! I love it!

I'm pretty certain I am going to trick out my Inferno over the winter and more than likely was going with Torsen diffs. However, I had no Idea the tractive 4's would be out soooooooo, I may just spend more $$ on even better Torsen diffs! lol THANKS A LOT HB!

I think the only Fioroni parts though that I am going with are the front/rear chassis braces as well as the front/rear shock stays. The rest I may go with Racers Edge.

what advantages does the Tractive have over a regular Torsen? And what are the differences between LSD's and Torsen's... like what is the difference when it comes to driving?

Since Fio and RE both cost a truckload, why don't you go for the same gear all round? They are similar standards of quality too.. but personally I think the Fio U-R stuff looks better.

I reckon things would look more complete if you used one set of gear.... considering RE is a flat pro-greyish colour, while Fio-UR is a bright blue with silver machinings, they're not exactly a blend.
