i want to no what it the best way to get the revo as fast as poss like 80mph

I'm not sure, but you would need a bigger motor, different CB and spur gear. I would think a Revo at 80mph would be very unstable. You would need to lower it somehow, then it wouldn't be good for much other than running on pavement.

I have a documented and verified account of mine just skimming 96mph. I used a small GPS to record accurate speed. I have a stock TRX 3.3 with slightly lowered gearing, 20% Traxxas "Top Fuel" and a modified stock pipe. I use the close ratio FOC'd 2.5 2-speed transmission. The motor is usually ran about 2 hours rich of maximum performance.

It was in the trunk of a rental car at the time.

Once again I agree mr MrClean.... in order to get a Revo up to 70 or 80 mph you would spend enough to buy a car that already does 80 mph. Revo is just not made for that. (could you imagine the stock tires ballooning at 80:whhooo:). I suggest a 4 Tec or Jato if you want those speeds with nitro.
Just my 2 cents:D
