Top Fuel, wow!

Man, I switched from Sidewinder to Top Fuel and as soon as i crunk it, it seemed to revv, run and just seemed plain better. It was easier to tune and the truck ran way better. Until it stripped the spur gear. lol


Cliff notes, I dont see me running anything but top fuel in my tmaxx.

I dont understand the point of plasic spur gears.

You where using plasic right?

It's a built in 'weak' point in the drive train. A cheap quick fix. Use a steel spur and you do a tranny rebuild.

Yeah, it was the stock plastic one. I would rather rpelace it for 3 bux and keep doing that, rather than go through tannys.

damn, what Sidewinder blend were you using? I love that stuff, Top Fuel almost never ran in my engines, it just wouldnt fire.

Top Fuel is awesome! I too just switched to it and my Maxx is like a new kind of beast!!!

I was using trinity monster horsepower 20% My maxx would barley run on it and wouldnt hold a tune for anything, the Top fuel made a HUGE differance. Had it tuned in minutes and accelerated way faster :jet: I too will never use anything but Top Fuel

That is about the same as mine, I had to use a tank and a half of gas just getting it tuned.

yeah, traxxas.. Top fuel is a pretty decent fuel. I had some left over from when I got rid of my maxx and got the savage, so I burnt it thru the savage and it ran pretty good. I know swithced to Trinity horsepower and I love it. Some good poop! Blue thunder always ran awesome in my maxx too..

I ran O'donnel 20% in my Revo and couldn't get it to stay running or tune right to save my life. I tried Top Fuel 20% and noticed a difference almost immediately. I could tune it and keep the engine running without problems.

I totally agree. It is much more worth it to just pay $2.50 every so often to fix a plastic one, rather than wear down your tanny and stuff with a metal one... thats just my 2 cents though so dont spaz.. LOL :jk: o yea,
