I'm looking for a good set of tools. wanted to know what you guys would recommend

A whole set or just some decent wrenches?

I'm pretty sure I'm asking my wife for a set of EDS allen tips for my 1/4" electric screwdriver she picked me up last year.

They have some really nice tools.

Tools I have bought or used that are great quality that last years are hudy and losi.

I have one hudy for my engine mount screws on my aftershock, standard thread and a set of metric hex wrenches that are 7+ years old.
These are the losi wrenches I currently have:

Huh... just found a comparable set of hudy bits at a-main:

Out of stock though. Those are relatively new to the hudy lineup.

Hudy's alloy handled set can be pretty pricey, but they offer the same bits with a plastic handle that you can change out the tip if it wears or breaks:

All that said... I may just try a set of these to see how long they last:

Cut each one of those double ended allen bits in half and they should work in my electric screwdriver. Worth a shot for $20.

I really need to stop looking... I WANT EVERYTHING!!!! :)
Found this set which is a pretty comprehensive set:

I'll be asking her for that set instead of the EDS set. If it proves to be weak and wears quickly, then I'll try the EDS or hudy hex's later.

Yep that last tool set looks like the ticket. I just wish I knew if they are as durable as EDS and Hudy.

I need something ASAP as well, only 30 bucks and some change. I'll give them a shot too. I have carpel tunnel from wrenching on my r/c's by hand for 10 years. I used my buddies power screwdriver and EDS 1/4 drive metric hex wrenches a while back. One time was all I needed to know that I need these.

Man those do look pretty sweet....I kinda like the looks of the new Losi multi that is on the front page of the forum too...hmmm decisions decisions.

X2!
That flywheel pulller though, don't waste your money. An automotive battery terminal puller is almost identical. Cheap too. On my list to get as well. Tired of beating the hell out of my flywheels and engines trying to remove stubborn flywheels.

True true! I use a small cheap-o gear puller. Works great...and it cost me under $5 so I say it was a deal. Yeah I get tired of beating it off too...THE FLYWHEEL!!!!! What is the matter with you people! :hehe:

GEEZ!!! Figures! Shows up on the page just days after my wife made the order!

Not sure about the handle though. Pretty good set of wrenches as far as sizes are concerned, especially for the price. Would like to see a 3mm and 4mm in there though. Will have to go scope out their site and see if they sell those bits separate.

They do sell replacement bits, but they don't offer the 3mm or 4mm for the wrench.
