Hello, got a question about the savage line of trucks. I have the savage x(I think) 4.6 grey and purple chassis, but I also have two more of the savage trucks with the aluminum roll bar that is attached to the chassis. no engines on them, but have about 6 .25 and .28 (i think) anyway, what are these trucks called? I think they are the earlier trucks, but what do i tell my hobby dealer??? "I need a part for a savage ______? HELP!!!! I want to get them together and running. Thanks all, This site is awesome.
 
Sounds like you have a Savage X (which is newer) and a couple Savage 25s most likely. The older ones were the Savage 21, 25 and SS. They were all pretty much the same but the engine and a couple minor things. Now for the good news....95% of the X parts will work on and earlier models. I have posted a link below to a compatibilty list. I would look for some diffs if they have not been upgraded.

If you have the ability to take photo's and post them, it will make it easier for us to identify what you have.

Where did you come across such a mix/match pile of savage?

Thanks for the help I really appreciate it. All I need now is the screw set so I can assemble them any clue besides e-bay?

A guy that I bought the "x" off of had all the parts, and called me the other day with even more!!! Gonna go buy them too. Thanks for the help.
