Never met you but it seems you know me so well. What better way to fix a rig... Ahh!
 
So it seems I've been running both motors to hard. I was unaware that i can't
run wot all the time. I was not letting motors cool.
 
You can work them too hard by running in tall grass or driving with a sticky brake etc., but they should never overheat under normal circumstances.

I'm not sold on the idea that running wide open can cause damage, but you can only go so far before you have to turn around.
 
I got temps down a little. Would an upgraded air filter help? Could I
drill small 1/16" holes into the stock air filter instead..
