well i want a high torque servo and this one is cheaper than others but i think it might be a lil over kill with 211 oz. torque oh and this is for the steering in the MAXX Digital Servo

It's a 1/5 scale servo. I Don't know if it'll work with your reciever but you'll have to figure out how to get it to fit.

wow thats a nice one with a nice price tag i think ill go with that one 168 torque is plenty for the maxx i imagine

It should be mine is on the way as well as the 645 non digital servo for my maxx. The digital 5645 MG will be for my MGT. The MGT has much larger tires to turn!!! Glad you are going with it. Ask SKYMAXX how he likes them he recommended them to me!

Hey Domination,

The Hitec 5645 Kicks arse as I can attest to in my Maxx. The Stock steering servo is pretty much ass in comparison...lol. It handles the 40 series tires very well now and the steering will be even sweeter when I add a new steering system servo saver (the stock system is pretty much crap IMO and that of many).

Keep in mind that running a Digital servo might require the use of a rechargable pack as Digital servos use ALLOT more power.

Peace

yea i have a pack on the way here in the mail for my RX and ill be buying one for my TX shortly I'm sick of dealing with alkalines

I'm tired of phucking with them myself. It's very reassuring to know that you have a fully charged pack before every run. I run a NI-MH pack and I cycle it ect so I always know the cells are at their peak.

Peace

:D

Ahhhhh....the digital flock grows again.

Yes, I almost swear by these HiTec Digital servos. They are a great value and produce every time I need them to. I have on HS-5645MG in each of my trucks and one in my buggy (perhaps steering overkill in the buggy...but hey why mess with a good thing.)

Hey Skymaxx not that I am crapping on servo city..there price is 54.99 and at my LHS they are selling them for 43.99 +tax I have decided to cancel my order and go to my LHS they are matching Hobby people and taking 10% off!!!

I never recommended Servo City...so crap away. I buy my servo's at my LHS. Be careful that your LHS is not selling you the 645 which runs in that price-range. The 5645 should run between 50 and 60 bucks.

really?
I even told them Hitec 5645 MG.I hope they aren't dickin with me

Hey. If you can get the 5645 for $43 ...DO IT! That is the best price I have seen/heard of.
