hi, just recieved my 25 engine back from mirage today as my crankshaft snapped after about 25 tanks. they have replaced all the iners of the engine so it needs to be run in again.anyway my savage is stripped at the moment, waiting for carbon chassis plates and trinity foams for my dirt bonz as the stock foams screw. i wont be running it for about another week or two weeks yet as i live in the uk and order my stuff from savage store (us) my q is should i use abit off after oil in it to keep it moist, so to speak????????????

cheers g unit

I dont know if they oiled it after the repair.
Better safe then sorry!
put some oil in it. It can't hurt.

I'd put some all over in the engine. I do this before I break in any engine. I want to make certain that all rubbing parts are properly lubed. Just remember, these things idle at 5K rpm, that's an awful lot of scratching dry aluminum can do in a short time.
