RC Driving Style
I finally decided today to get the Savage Ltd.Ed. I just started thinking that the chances of me racing aren't as great as bashing. Also, I spend my summers at the beach, so there's plenty of sand dunes to bash around on. Thanks for all your help. I already had all the tools as well so why double up. I did buy a new servo. I bought the JRPSZ650. It was a little pricier but it has a 3 year warranty and has metal gears. I have a few more things to get but spent all my cash today buying chargers and humpack, servo saver.:breakdown
Actually, the dude at the HS let me trade the stock servo for the JR one and only charged me 25.00.

Ha ha! I don't know about you guys, but when i bash my Revo, I beat it pretty good, then later the same day, take it out for a regular drive. I love the Revo. I think the most major thing i broke on it was a shock shaft.
 
Jet, are all the savages stock? Since the revo is set up for racing, do you really think it's fair??
Maybe I'll kick your ass some day!! Just kidding.
But tell me are these savages hopped up?
 
The Revo is not set up for racing, it is a more natural racer as a RTR, and I doubt anyone would return to the track after racing a Savage a couple of times without a few hopups. And the Savage has the bigger mill to start with, so advantages go to each side.

Don't know really. I know one of them is the 4.6 "daddy rabbit" but he spends alot of time being marshalled cause it rolls alot. I brought him a stick of butter once and asked if he wanted to put it on those rolls!:idea:

Alot of people kick my ass, I just like to have fun with it! Then I give them some Thai knees behind the drivers stand! J/K
 
Used to be Savage vs. T-maxx.
Now it's Savage vs. Revo.

Either way we win. (The competition between the 2 will always be one trying to be better than the other. I hope.)
Right now, Savage for bashing. Revo for racing. Both have a lot of support. Could still race the Savage, just take some bucks.

You never know, I might spend the money to make it a racer as well. Butter for rolls! Very funny!

wow a savage thats cool hope it dont break inhalf like mine did 2 days after i got it... then order another and 1 week later same thing happens.. oo it keeps going then... i get revo.. and oo works great... oo still not done..

my brother gets a savage and omg it broke in same place and my 2 junkers..

now we both own revo's good luck on the hpi.. you may need it.. i hope not tho lol..


man revos are tanks i bash the hell out of mine and nothing i bust rims befor i but parts lol.. no joke.. my next buy will be a rcs cage for mine
 
damn dude, that's some bad luck with all those savages! funny, though, i've never heard of one breaking in half before. i jumped mine 40 feet out and 30 feet down and didn't break anything. you must've been running them pretty hard. and i wish i had a good enough job to afford 2 savages and 4 revos. what do you do for a living?
 
me nothing I'm a dead beat no lol just takeing care of my mom.. and such.. my brother is the one with the big big pockets.. and loves to run them.. just never work on them so I'm allways stuck doing it .. but thats half the fun so..
