Hey all..

I am working on completing a Tmaxx build for a friend of mine. It is an all aluminum (mostly all aluminum) truck that was worked on before me.

One of the diffs has been installed backwards (or turned around..)
This was not done by me, but the person that I am working behind.
He also installed way too much thread lock and I have stripped the hex heads on 2 or 3 screws. One of them I got about 1/2 of the way out. I can cut that one off and use pliers.. but how do I get the other ones out without scarring up his truck with the dremel??

Thanks.
adrian

Besides cutting slots in the heads of the screws so that you can use a flat head screwdriver, you can try applying heat and use an easyout.

unless he is entering it in a froo froo shelf queen show, just nick the aluminum and save your self some headache trying20 different methods that may or may not work.......I'd do the slot and heat it like IB said.....but trying to not nick the aluminum can be a real PITA.....

use a half used dremle disk.. one that isnt as big around.. that way it will be easyer to only cut the head..

I was told they sell smaller discs but never found em, anyone have first ahnd ka-nowledge on the topic???...... I always crack the larger ones when I use em......

I havent seen the smaller ones either... I think you could use em on a metal file and make em smaller, then try em...
