Well actually I didn't paint a body like a pickle. It isn't running right. tuning it is impossible and when it seems I get it, once it warms up the tuning just goes out again. whats up?

Maybe I missed it, but you are supposed to tune only when the engine is already warmed up. It would help if you described the type of problems you are having, temps when you have them, etc...

Well for one thing you need to tune it when it's already up to temps. Set the HSN to 4 turns from closed and LSN flush with housing. Then retune, AFTER IT WARMS UP.

yeah I understand that but no matter what I do when the engine gets warm, it bogs like crazy. It only runs well when its cold. i tried getting new o-rings several times but it did not help. not sure whats going on. And i know you probably think that I don't know what I'm doing with tuning but I had it running dandy before and nickjames can back me up on that. it all the sudden won't run right. Thoughts?

OK well I got it to work right. It turns out the LSN was screwed all the way in. it was way too lean. Its still not working perfect but I am verry close. it still stalls sometimes when i stop. does anybody know why? I assume one of the needles is not set right. But which one? Also it only runs about 200 dagrees. but it is like 0-1 dagrees celsius. does that sound normal?

I had that problem and it was because I adjusted the idle speed screw with the throllte trim turned up, and when I hit the brakes it closed the carb. When I turned the throttle trim down, set the idle screw, and then adjusted the trim, no matter what the carb wouldn't close because the screw was keeping it opened.

That makes total sense. That is what i've been doing and didn't realize it made a difference. Thanks alot Charliestheman, you've been a ton of help today.

What about temperature? Again it is at about 200 dagrees and about zero celsius outside. does that seem normal? or is it a tad too lean/rich? it seems ok but I like reassurance.

Now whats wrong? It starts fine cold but when it warms up it stalls when I break and won't start again. I just got a new gp wire so its not shorting out. However it may be an air leak or my glow plug. I got some of that sealant stuff but don't know where to put it. Also I will change my gp. What do you guys think it is?

Edit: also it seems to bog right before it stalls and won't start again. If that makes a difference.

I think you may e chasing the wrong problem. Are you using fresh fuel? Old fuel can make your nitro engine run wrong no matter how much you fiddle with it. Also air leaks, they can come from fuel lines, the carb neck, backplate, fuel tank.. pretty much any where that usesor transports fuel , holds fuel or pressurize the fuel system.

Now your glow plug may be it or the washer... since the washer comes with a new plug you might as well buy new..

Yes my fuel is fresh. I got i the other day. not sure but I blew into the hose that pressurizes the fuel tank, there was no give whatsoever. could it be where the exhaust meets the engine? or where the pipe meets the part that goes to the engine? Should I seal the exhaust and the carb?

Yes it can. Check for tear or cracks in the material.

Ok well i sealed where the carb meets the engine and where the pipe meets the tube that goes to the engine. I think it should be good but if the problem remains I will seal the back plate. Is that all it could be?

tank o-ring. Make sure to look at it. Closing it should have some resistance.
