i just bought to inline fuel filters for my tmaxx 3.3. which way do they go? should i put two on it one from tank to carb, and one from tank to exhaust to prevent backwash? which way do these go? and i also ordered the new 4907 steering linkage how do i install that as well much help appreciated! pics if u have any thanks guys

There is no certain way to put them, and you only need them on the line from the carb to the tank. As far as the linkage, I am not sure how to hook it up, it has been a long time since I messed with my t maxx.

i definatley need to know how, I'm not sure if i have them backwrds or not. hope this doesn't effect the fuel flow.

The inlet from the tank is usually the "cap" end of the filter. The main body is the outlet to the carb.

you have a different fuel filter than I have, it really depends on what kind of filter you have. I ended up getting a Dubro one (not by choice, its all the LHS had left) which has no certain direction to put on the fuel line.

liquid filters should be set up so the liquid comes to out side if the element. the reason is that if the filter collapses it falls against its self trapping loose stuff. if it was so the liquid came into the element in the center, then when the element collapses, ie comes apart, it spreads dirt, ect, into the system.
