Remember tha when you're getting ready to spend that much money on a T-Maxx, you can buy a Savage and have a true 1/8 scale big block truck that will stand up to a good bashing. You'll also have the T-Maxx for backup or to run with your friends, however once you get a Savage you may get rid of the T-Maxx. I like the T-Maxx truck, and I have one myself. It's how I got involved. But after spending a lot of money on my rig, I was getting ready to do a big block conversion. I realized that for less money I could get the Savage X SS and have A LOT more truck. Best decision I ever made. I still have my T-Maxx, as it makes a great shelf queen, but the Savage is much more durable for something that you're going to be running, and you don't have to spend money on parts unless you want to, whereas the Maxx requires a good bit of aftermarket parts just to make it half as bashworthy as the Savvy.
