Tmaxx fuel system

I have a tmaxx 2.5 with a 3.3 engine..They have fuel filters out there cause i hear ppl talking about it...but were can i get it and what is the point of them.

You can get them pretty cheap from www.towerhobbies.com pr www.rcplanet.com and the point of them is to filter the fuel so no debris enters the engine and causes damage. I wont run my engine without one. Cheap investment like 5 or 10 bucks at the most. Better to invest smakk now rather than invest big later.

Many tanks have stone filters built in, but I don't think the t-maxx is one of them. So an inline filter is a good idea.

hey el, that first web site you gave me...They have filters and primers..will a primer do the job also or can u get both of them and stick it on there

hey never mind...i went to rcplanet and they have them built in, primer and filter in 1...Thats so cool! I'm buying one..Does this change performance any tho

The only diff is that wen u first try to start the engine the fuel mite take sec or two to reach the carb but wen it fires and the fuel pressue is constant it will be fine.
