It seems like everytime i wreck my tmaxx the take cracks. Has anyone else seen this. and is there a more durable tank?

I had that problem. Went through around 10 tanks in a pretty short time span. Tried an alloy tank, but with a screw top, it's more of a pain than it's worth. No matter how much locktite I put on the mounting screws, they would rattle loose as well.

To find a better tank of the same capacity that will fit in the stock location may not be doable. But if you move stuff around on the chassis, you can put a tank up in the right corner where the receiver sits.

I ran a 125cc OFNA buggy tank on mine and never cracked it in a few years of running.
I used this tank:

However, now that I'm looking, the pirate tank may be able to fit in the stock spot... would have saved a lot of headache if I had found that then!

Here's a photo of how I used that first tank. I made a little bracket out of flat steel so the tank kind of floated on it.
