So I stripped down my tmaxx fir cleaning and to check every thing out. When I put back together I put a differential in upside down and it locked up the drive train. After a few trial and error attempts I got it rolling. So I tried to run it today and while in drive it went backwards. In reverse it goes forward. So my question is can I put them in backwards? Meaning did I put the front in the rear and vice versa. Would that put things backwards?

yup flip the both of em and she will be as good as new well going the right way atleast I used a knife and made a mark on the top side of the diff.'s to prevent it next time.... it is easy but when you wanna run it, it is kinda bumming...... so yup flip'em around and have fun..

I did it to my classic and I had front going backwards and rear going forwards
and then on my 3.3 i spaced it and did what you did forward was revers.. now I knew something was up considering i took reverse out to try it when it happend.....

Yeah when I screwed up the first time I put an arrow pointing up. Looks my arrow points down now. Awesome man thanks so much for the help.

np I figure I get answers to stuff I dont know on this forum so if I can answer acouple I feel like I am giving alittle back to show my apriciation... This forum has all the answers... they might not be out in the open but if you post a question in the right thread you get some of the best ideas to pick from and some good what not to do's and what to do's good luck!!!!!!!!!!

I have wondered about this myself.

My truck still has reverse...... and it seems WAY FASTER than forward.....
tmaxx 3.3 grey tranny. should the shift pin be IN or OUT to be in forward gear ?

So I flipped em last night night. Ran great today. Got it tuned pretty good and ran about two and a half tanks. Why a half? Because when icame flying out of my yard over the curb like I have multiple times. I flipped and snapped my HSN. Hopefully sometime this week I can make to my not so local hobby shop and pick up a couple. If your not breaking it your not driving it hard enough. Or so I've heard.

So thanks again for all the help.
