is there anything i can up grade this with or should i stick with stock.

You can... but stock isn't bad. You can try aluminum shoes, but they require more maintenance. I believe nova makes some out of 7075 which is probably the best bet if you want to go that route. You will need to supply a new spring as well.

Personally, if your staying with a stock engine, the stock clutch is fine. You have to take it apart and rough up the shoes and bell at least once every half gallon or so to keep it from glazing over and causing excess slippage. That's typically what causes the heat that breaks springs.

It's also a good idea to replace the bearings at about the same time. Cheap insurance for durability.

ok well i think ill stick with stock for now ill let you know how it runs after i get it back together.

Well, if you can find one that is 1/10th scale, you get better contact on the bell which gives you better power transfer. With better power transfer, you get less slippage and heat. Less slippage/heat means longer shoe/spring life and longer bearing life.

Also, you get to use more of the power your engine is putting out.
