Never owned a Revo, but if I had to put my money down on the strongest one in stock form, it would be the Revo. It looks like it has a more rigid chassis and more overall sturdy design. I own a Tmaxx and I am saying this! Dont get me wrong, the Tmaxx is a super strong truck itself, but in a shootout I think the Revo would win. The Revo looks like it is set up better for racing while still being capable of offroad bashing.

Of the 2, I would recommend the Revo. Handles great and is easy to drive out of the box.

I'm not one to believe one is better than the other.. i believe they are better for the person depending on the type of driving.. I mean traxxas in general is just for bashing but i think t maxx was more of a basher compared to the revo. i noticed revo's were really used and did well in some races back in the day than t maxx's. so if you want to just go crazy and hit crazy jumps and have fun i say t maxx. Also i have heard the revo's are slower than the maxx's so thats one more down side I've heard. really i just like the revos suspension and nice travel.

My vote would be the t maxx. but if you just want a different style monster truck the revo is interesting.

I own both and my revo is hands down 10 times better. T maxx is faster but my revo will out handle and land jumps way better. I drive my t maxx maybe 1 to 10 over my revo. Revo is just better built handles better and will handle a wicked jump better than my t maxx plus my revo will flip maybe 2 times where I have to go get it compared to 50 times when I'm bashing my t maxx.
