Hey just looking for ideas on upgrades that make the tmaxx run better

Toss on a motorsaver and a good pipe

If you have a 4907/08 then you have a pretty good filter & pipe as it comes stock.

My 0.02$,
1) Better shock springs, on ebay,

2) 6V hump pack
3) Ofna Violator tank
4) a 250oz or better Metal Geared steering servo
5) sacrifice a retractable pen for it's spring, cut it down to fit between the brake pads.
6) RPM wear plates for over the skids
7) #4964 brake disc, slipper mod, replaces the 3 slipper pads, just have enlarge the holes a little so it sits onto the pressure plates pegs.
8) ACNCM bulks Front & rear set $50 shipped, ebay, http://www.ebay.com/itm/T-E-Maxx-3-...Control_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4170e780dc
9) aluminum chassis braces
10) Drop a Picco .21 into it!:) http://www.ebay.com/itm/Picco-P-Ser...Control_Parts_Accessories&hash=item35d873a9dc

if its a stock 3.3 ,I would add a losi 3.4 carb to the ths pipe and motorsaver airfilter ,best 40 bucks you can spend on it

I'd start with upgrading the AA batteries to a 5 cell rechargeable humpback battery (and charger)
You'll get longer run time and improved response from your servos.
Something like this for example:

Good idea, was the best investment I made! they last forever and charge quickly.:D

If you have a budget of around £200 get a novarossi p15xlt and efra super strong 2099 tuned pipe bundle, I've heard good reviews and as a bundle on eBay for £184.99 it's a bargain!

Thanks everyone will have a look at all your ideas over the week end and most likely end up searching on ebay lol

I think if I try spending $200+ on a new motor the rest would have to stay stock in trying to fix my 4 tech tho guess it would fit in that :)
