ok my steering start acting up. when truck is on the ground steering will just move a little bit. don't have enough juice to turn the wheels all the way. so I change batteries went out and got new steering servo. same crap. then I took the receiver box apart and switch channels for my steering and everything is working good. just my throttle channel is steering now. Is it possible that ch1 on the receiver box is going bad. did anyone experience anything like it ???

Is the steering issue only when the truck is at a stop.. or when it's moving also?

I know mine does the same thing when it's not in motion.. but by design it uses centrifugal force to allow for steer when it's moving. It's not an issue with the truck, but how it was desgined

well first it was at stop only now it dose it even when moving. It will just stop turning completely. looks like that servo teeth are sliding in a little white steering connector that is on the steering servo. I did buy and replaced it with a new one. Also that little white server comes with 3 different teeth settings. with one do i use? I don't get it maybe my steering linkage are worn.

do a trial and error fit

what you mean? I try servo by it self and works just fine with out linkage on it.

Make sure the little ball retainer things (sorry not feeling to technical right now) aren't too tight. That got me the other day....

Neither did I until after I had half of the front end taken off trying to find the problem.:hehe:

thank you all for input. I found it. its just a crappy servo they use on this trucks. My buddy got Jr on his with 188oz of torque and his truck turns just awesome. need to find a good servo with good price now.
