Another thought is with the 40 series you are much better off with a good hump pack...Unless you don't need to brake and turn at the same time.

I cut a stock savage tire on some sharp rocks, but no slicks here! I better get drivin' so I can be the first...

Mr. Owl....How many tanks does it take to get to the center of a stock savage tire?

I personally like the stock tires, but I wouldn't go with a set of 40 series if you're bashing, because there is simply not as much padding to dampen an impact from jumping or smacking it into a tree.

But, as ratzo said, do what makes you happy. If you're a good driver without hitting stuff and if you don't ramp it too high, you should be fine.

I'm Staying Stock. The Big Joes, Cheyenne Rims, hexes are soo expensive. and I'm a basher. so I'm gonna stay stock.

he is running a Wasp .26 I think,

If you want new rubber, get the tires and get Traxxas wheels, they are very strong, look good, and are like $9 for a pair. thats What i do, then when the tires are worn just take them off and put new tires on.

also take a look at Imex tires, they are nice and soft and are pretty cheep
