There are so many different types of tires out there, looking for suggestions for a set that are multi purpose, good for dirt asphalt grass. I know you can change them out for the different surfaces want an all purpose tire.

I just did a bunch of research for the same reason, and so far I have heard great reviews on the Proline Mashers. From what I have read they are a good all around tire for grass, asphalt and gravel. What size rims are on the t-maxx 2.5?

my friend runs 40 series crime stoppers ( i believe that is the right name) they are similar to bowties. look good, have good all round traction and a low sidewall that really helps knock down on roll-overs.

thxs for the info

anybody have some links for some tires and or wheels that I can check out ?

A set of pro-line masherswould do you well. They are a bit lighter than traxxas tires, but they still last pretty long, like traxxas tires. Also, they are a bit more flexible than the traxxas tires, so they will do better off road.

If you get something too aggressive like pro-line mulchers, they won't last very long on concrete or hard pack and they will grab relentlessly in the grass.

Personally though, I like running old school savage tires. A bit more sidewall making for more cushion on landings (but also a bit more wandery at high speed on pavement than t-maxx stockers) and overall decent traction and wear. Those matched up with a set of RPM 14mm wheels would work out really nice.

Oh wait... that's what I run on my savage! ;) (except I run 17mm hubs)

Personally I like the stock tires that come on the t-maxx. I have tried maxx masher and didn't like them they didn't get good bit.
