right now i'm runnin mine stock, i had a 23t pinion gear on it and it made it a little faster but took longer to get up to top speed. does anyone have a good gearing ratio that will get more speed without draining the batterie?

Switching to a brushless system will net you more runtime and power due to the higher efficiency. However, there is no way to go faster without more draw from the stock motor.

at the local hobbie shop you can buy a paralel plug that lets you run 2 batteries without burning up the motor. if i got that what would be a good gearing ratio. i've been wanting to go burshless but i can't afford that lol

18 or 19 pinion and 86 tooth spur is the best combo I have found for most applications. I have run castle 5700, Traxxas VXL, and brushed but they all seem to settle into this combo for overall handling although the 5700 wanted a smaller 16t pinion due to it's crazy high winding power and heat.
