I'm afraid its the beginning of the end for my steering servo (still stock) but I've had it for about 3 years...

anyway, I'm really leaning towrads a Hitec HS-645MG as its popular but is there anything just as good for cheaper. or i wouldnt mind spending a bit extra for anything better...

so tell me what your using and how you like it and what the torque is.

thanks.

Well, I'm going to reccomend the 645 or the JR 650M because it has a little more torque and is only $10 more...and JR has the 3 year warranty on their products, but if your hitec servo goes out under warranty, they'll replace/fix it for free, no questions asked.

Well, I know you have to pay for JR service (or so it says on their site) and hitec is free. JR warranty is 3 years I believe, and the hitec is 2 I think.

yeah I was going to get the digital for the savage and the regular for the buggy, am I going with too much torque for a buggy? should I get something a little faster, I'm just bashing

I have the 645MG in my buggy for gas/brake and steering. It seems like just enough torque/speed for both.

I used to run quicker servo's for my throttle/brake, but I kept frying them from standing on the brakes all the time. Since I've upgraded to high torque on both my buggy and my savage for t/b, they last way longer.

same here i run hs-645mg in both steering and throttle/brake,no problems, and yes if they do fail with in 2 years send it in and they do replace it new.very happy with them
