time for new eng

My max needs a new eng, I like the .19 Dynamite in my Jato and was wondering if the .21 Mach eng from Dynamite would fit/has anyone tried fitting one in a max? I have the 4908 and from what I can figure the picco .26 motor mount should work. I am looking for something with a bit more power than a 3.3 or .19, but a little less than the .27 sirio I have been running. Just too much unusable power. I do have a big block chassis in my parts bin, just need motor mount, I have the drive shafts. Thanks

Sounds like you have everything to make the Mach .21 work.

I may be wrong but... you would need to make a big block pipe and header fit your maxx. it may be possible with a minor "tweak" to a big block header.

I have a header from my .27 sirio. It came with a .21 size exh header pipe and mount to fit it in a stock max chassis.

You would need to use that big block chassis to get it in there. Those usually give you clearance between the header/rear tower for a typical bb square header too.
