Hi all, I normally post on the HPI Savage Forum as I have a collection of 13 savage trucks. But my latest build will be getting a Thunder Tiger .28 Pro mill fitted to it. The problem I have is simple. The engine came from an MTA28 so downloaded the manual for that truck.
Now this engine seemed to come with 2 different carbs, a 3 needle & a 2 needle version. I have a 2 needle version but the one I have has the LSN inside the slide like a Force or HPI engine, The manual shows the LSN in the other end of the carb where the mid range needle would like on a K4.6 or K5.9 mill.
What I am looking for is some factory base setting for the carb. It is defo a Thunder Tiger carb. Here are a couple of photos of it
