My throttle servo just stopped working on me today. Thank god it stopped at idle when I was waiting for a car to pass. I figure the rx battery must be getting low so just let the fuel burn out and took it in. Well I charged the battery connected it again to see if it was just the battery and it still wouldnt work. I took the servo out and apart the gears were fine and still moving freely, then on inspection of the wires I noticed there cut a little it doe'snt look like there's damage to the wires just plastic around them I was wondering if this could cause the servo to completly stop working? I have a Losi Limited Edition Aftershock with the stock servos.

Even though you still see the wires connected in that area doesn't mean thats not the problem. There could have been a split of the wires underneath the insulation that you may not be able to see causing you to have intermittent power

That makes sense. I think the drive train shaft was hitting it. Is there anything I can do to fix this our just get a new servo, if that's the case I'm definetly upgrading.
