throttle servo move

can anyone give me a good pic of there maxx with the servo over where the fuel tank is? what do i need to do with the fuel tank?heres my prob. i got a bigger engine and can only get half throttle travel with the stock setup is there a way to lock tranny in forward w/o getting the kit in case i need to?

This is what I did so I could run a buggy tank instead of the sock tank. I put the tank up where the receiver/throttle servo was. I moved the receiver over above the steering servo.

The FOC for the maxx is rather cheap. I'd just buy that. Takes a lot of junk out of the trans.

I made little stand offs out of brass tubing. You can't see one of them as it's behind the servo, but I drilled a hole through the bottom of the receiver box for it:

Yeah... my goal was to have a truck I could beat the crap out of and not worry... ultimately, the savage kicked it's teeth in and I got rid of the maxx.
