Ok i have a fail safe but want a throttle return spring for mt nMT cause what if the batteries go dead how does the fail safe move the servo with no power?? what are some ways that these throttle return springs can be implimented to work? or how do they work period so I can try to tackle this problem my self? i have been wanting to put one in since my friend was driving and ran it into a parked car and broke an a-arm he says he lost controll. funny thing is we had replaced that arm like 15 min earlier with a new one :hammer:

The failsafe will kick-in if your batts start to get too low or radio signal gets too weak. If you were to somehow loose power competely, the failsafe will not work. A throttle return spring is cheap insurance and should be mounted in such a way that it works against your throttle servo and closes your carb if you were to loose batt power completely.

it would help if you told us what truck and engine set up you have. Here is a pic from my rc10gt, that is how the throttle return spring is mounted.
