I’m working on the throttle/brake mod and am having a few problems. When I go to full brake, the brake lever does not move far enough at full servo throw to engage the breaks completely. I can still turn the spur gear and only feel a little resistance. When I rotate the brake lever by hand, I need to turn it to about a 10:00 position for full brake engagement. It seems like that brass thing that pushes against the inner-most brake pad needs to be a little longer so the brakes will engage earlier. I have the Envy dual brake set-up.

When I was installing the brakes, I installed a 1.5mm spacer between the tranny and the inner-most brake pad. The problem is there is too much slop between the brass thing and the inner brake pad with the spacer installed. Without the spacer, the inner rotor would sometimes get hung up on the inner edge of the HB brake hex. I haven’t seen any other posts about this problem so I must have something set up wrong. Any suggestions??

Two things:

Tighten your brake calipers a little at a time. Then spin your spur gear or push your truck to test for a little friction between the calipers and the brake disc. Once friction is detected loosen the calipers for no friction when the spur gear is turned. This should be your ideal set up.

Brake linkage, 10:00 is about where the brake engages on my Savage also. I don't know your linkage set up but here is the concept. Undo your sliders/stopper and move your brake lever by hand until you get adequate braking. Remember its position. Move the lever back about a half-inch to an inch and reposition your slider/stopper on the linkage while holding the lever steady in that exact position. Now turn on the electronics and test. You may still need to do more adjusting depending on your servo throw but you should now be on the right track.

Also check to see if your servo horn is centered.

Take your throttle/brake servo horn off, then turn on all of your electronics. Set your trim settings on your t/b servo to neutral, then reinstall your servo horn. After you get the horn centered up then re adjust your linkages and all will be smoove like butta.
