i was looking thru a current issue of rc car action and seen an add for these bodies for the maxx or savage,,
they claim to be indestructable ,watch the video and see for yourself,,very impressive ,,

what ya think???
http://www.smashmen.com/

what are these bodies made of, I'm not able to view the video. but just knowing what material their formed from can tell alot.

Thier site doesn't say. The video is 2 bodies on the ground. 1 lexan unpainted, 1 smashmen painted. Then he runs over them with a 4-wheeler and pics them up and fiddles with them to show the lexan is all cracked while theirs isn't.

Also, it looks relativly cold there as he is all bundled up and the trees are all leafless and whatnot.

sounds cool. i want a savage and one of those.. the only thing is that they only make chevy silverado body and they dont look too detail.

Neat video would be better if he had close ups of both bodys 1st. How do you know the clear lexan one wasn't trashed already.

and to bad they are colored already. doesn't leave much room for design. You would have to just add stickers etc.

thats what i thought too,,,,not too detailed,,but super strong thoe ,only thing is price, 49.99 plus 9 s/h ..thats 60 bucks,,but then if infact it is as good as they same you can bash and thrash forever and not buy another 1 ,,may outlast 2 or 3 other bodies,,
but then again not too detailed ,,

is there a "contact us" tab on that site i would really like to know what its made from.. for painters curiosity..

Let us know.. I'm gona guess that They wont tell you. Or it would prob say on the page.

I just dont like the fact They come precolored. I'm gona guess its actually the material dye/color. :(

Man, that video is tight. I can't believe its so strong. I aggree though, that they shoulda shown a close up of before and after.

Dont know bout that price tho. For 60 bucks you can buy a few boddies and design and paint em urself. That seems like more fun to me. Cool idea tho!

bs. Id doesn't mater. The bodie was still crumpoled. I steeped on my car bodies they don't break the crumpole. It proboly was a pre cut. And besides a paint job would be complty distroid and you woulld need a new body anyways
