The throttle & brake linkage are glitching when trans. & rec. are on. When rc was running it took off at full throtle and i had no control over it, until it got stuck on a snow hill (luckily). Now when i start it everything else is happening except for the no control part (i have control)but it still wants to take off if i don't hold the brake. Is it caused from the metal on metal on linkage? If so what do i do to cover the metal on metal issue?

It's either metal-on-metal or the servo got moisture in it. Moisture will kill a servo pretty quick.

I would think it got pretty wet in our weather here right now(raining and snowing) with a few puddles which i tried avoiding. So is the servo toast or need to dry. Cupooterluvr i sent you a pm.

More than likely it's toast. You can try taking it apart and drying it with a hair drier, but any servo I got wet once, never worked right again, so I never trusted it.

Might want to get a waterproof servo from traxxas instead.

I think this is around 80oz: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXTKL0&P=ML
If you have the $, go with the stronger digital version: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXVEP2&P=ML

With an MT, you use a lot of brakes very frequently. Stronger servos last longer as t/b servos just as they do with steering.
