For the past weekend me and Rs43Drifter and a few more team Schlag members have been bashing. It started Saturday at like 3pm cause it took Tyler forever to get out of bed. WE took alot more video than we did picture this time.(thanks to parents for the 256mb flash card and grandmother for the PowerShot A40!) I will not be posting the videos because I wanna actually have some unseen material for the upcoming video. As of right now its just me and tyler with like 6 minutes, so be except a good 10 to 20 minute video coming out soon. Anyway on with the pictures.

Hope you all enjoyed, can't wait to show you the video!

Thats his 2nd engine and he's been int he hobby for abut a month, lol. The last time he decided to clean his car, he removed the airfilter and electronics and just blasted it witha water hose(including down the car), lol.

If i put out every video, the upcoming TS video will be point less because it will all be reruns

Begging your pardon, but I happen to use a garden hose on my trucks and buggy when they are particularly dirty...I then finish up the wet work in the kitchen sink.

Be very, very careful on whom and how you judge a person.

The only precaution I really take is to not spray water directly into the carb. The air filter catches any overspray. Once I am done with most of the wet work, I remove the airfilter and soak it in soapy water for a good cleaning. Then I give the engine some after run oil. The electronics...haven't had a problem yet, and I've never removed them for a cleaning. As a matter of fact, I think they have gotten more water in them from running through knee deep mud (remember that EP?) or puddles than from my cleaning.

Not to prolong this discussion, but you are correct that it is wise to exercise caution when washing your RCs with a garden hose or in the kitchen sink with the sink sprayer. I just do not think it is wise to berate someone for making a rookie mistake and nailing the carb with the hose. Some people learn best from bad mistakes.
