I own two trucks, the Speed-NT and the Mutilator. Both are down. I'm bored.

The Mutilator is waiting on the Losi 454 I bought from MGT8.0owner, which was sent 600 miles east, to come back 450 miles west, when he sent it from about 200 miles almost due north of me. I ordered Avid clutch bell bearings for it, those shipped on Friday, and the engine shipped last Monday. The bearings will probably get here first. I need clutch shoes too, but can't afford them right now, but my others are at least good enough to use for a week or two until I have the money.

For the Speed-NT, I was emailing back and forth with Gary Kyes form Horizon Hobby (Losi), though I haven't heard from him since Tuesday night, the last email he sent me was asking what parts I needed, and my shipping info. I can only assume that there will be a package in the mail in the next couple days, but who knows.

1:1 dirt track racing got rained out the last two nights, blowing my weekend. I'm bored, in case you didn't catch that already. I need the smell of burnt nitro, in a bad way.

Sorry, had to speak out, this whole situation is bumming me out. My luck with nitro RC is pretty crappy right now. I got the Mutilator so I'd have one to run when the other is down, but apparently that isn't working out so well.

Haha I know the feeling man I've been without nitro for 6 weeks, waiting on the rear end from a lhs thats on backorder for 6 weeks somehow & my rs4 3 is waiting for a new engine drop in. I swear youtube is my best friend sometimes. Wednesday I may get my scaler & I cannot literally wait... All I think about at work is playing with my RC rigs... Sad indeed :(

I still don't know why Canada post took it to Toronto...

Sorry about that buddy

Hopfully it gets to you early this week and you can get up and running again

I'm in the same boat man. Still waiting on a steering servo from Randy. Might be here tomorrow I'm hoping....down for the count for now.... its all good though. I'm doing the YouTube thing too....getting old though.

Haha indeed, anyone know any fun & retarded games to make time fly, my ps3 makes too much time pass & I don't wanna destroy on battlefield cause it gets old too...

I have watched a ton of rc vids, and read stuff on forums that I wouldn't normally care about. I go out in the garage and stare at both trucks just wishing I could do something with them. Tomorrow I'll test the tank on the Mutilator, and possibly swing by the lhs to get some fuel line. I took the engine and tank out of the Muti already. I need to bring the exhaust pipe to work, clean it up and flare the end for the boot to actually stay on it.

I do still need to set the toe and steering adjustments on it, maybe I'll do that too.

You know, I'm so hooked on something I can't even do, that my buddies pc is still sitting on the floor waiting for me to look at it and try to fix it. That's pretty sad.

It's crazy how addictive this hobby is. I'm in the same boat. I'm waiting on an air filter for my rustler, pinion for the stampede, and the revo is in pieces being cleaned. Can't wait for some free time to play.

Well since my 3.3 is dismembered and waiting for my part I spose I could seal up the engine while I wait

Me too, tested the fuel tank today, sealed the drip tube at the top and bottom, was leaking there. Set the front toe, and adjusted the steering to the servo. Found the stock clutch bell, now I have to decide, 13t, or 15t. Re-organized my bench some more. Put up a white-board for taking notes. Running out of crap to do.

Checked the USPS, my engine was in Chicago on Thursday night, I assume tomorrow it will go to Minneapolis, just so that it can go all the way around me. Since I should get something from Chicago in about two days time, it should have been here today. But it's not.

Still no word from Losi.

Yea....I checked usps too. According to them, my servo went threw the Scarborough, Maine p.o. on June 5th. That was sat. And that's not far from me. I should've had it today. Now I'm waiting on that and a new pipe I just ordered. Sounds like you're keeping yourself busy. I'm gonna have to try to do the same thing. I wanna bash!!!!! This is getting old.........

Man if USPS sends the engine over to Minni now They are messed in the head

It should have gone either striaght to you in the first place or down to Minni then across to you..

Going to Toronto then all the way back across is Bullcrap

I'm the exact opposite right now. All my rigs are up and running, but i have NO time to run them.

Put some blue flashers on top of your Slash, Alpine, and use it to chase down some speeders. You could also request some time to do some community relations at a local school to keep them off drugs (and get them hooked on RC).

New project to tackle, maybe tomorrow. After re-organizing my workbench, I've realized that it's not big enough. I have an old counter-top, that will be going on my existing bench in the very near future! I'll post before and after pics.

Question for ya....I FINALLY got my servo from Racer_1966. It's a Jr. Pro st126mg. I'm putting it in my Tmaxx. I ordered this specifically for a steering servo. My question is, can I use this as a throttle/brake servo as well? Or is it strictly for steering? Thanx in advance....by the way.....love the looks of your Muti......looks mean!!!!

A servo is a servo. They can be flip-flopped to be used either way, although some are intended for specific use.

I GOT IT!!!! Bearings and engine came today. Just finished the break-in, and my glow plug warmer died as I was starting to tune it.

Losi update: I email Gary Kyes to ask what was up since I haven't heard from him lately, and he said the parts he "wanted" to send me were out, but he'd get the stuff sent soon. So it sounds like he's sending me a transmission, but I have to build it. Also, I asked him if there was any future plans for the Speed-NT, and he said they have the new dish wheels, which I personally don't care much for, then he said they are working on a bigger fuel tank and "some other stuff."

I guess we wait and see.
