i took my r/c car to my friends house to race his dads onroad evo rs4 ( i know i would have gotton killed) , and i went to start it and the pullstart spring breaks. After trying to fix it i decided it was worthless. all i want to know is if i can just buy the couil in the pullstarter, or do i have to buy a new one. also are there any cheap suggestions of somthing besides pullstart?

what car do you have? Better yet what engine is in your car?

There are always rotostarts, or starter boxes.

i have a.27 super tigre engine ,and i was thinking a rotostart how much would that run?

I am thinking with a backplate and the wand, about 70 bucks. ABOUT....Have you looked anywhere?

I would go roto start too, but get an extra one-way, they don't last as long with it.
As for your other question, yes you should be able to get just the spring coil. I haven't seen one for that engine specifically, but I have seen others at my LHS.

With my roto start on my savage I only went threw 1 one way bearing. Now its even cranking over a .32. I've had really good luck with it (Knock on wood). Id highly recommend a roto start. I wont own a rc without it.
