Oh man... that thing is huge... I'd have trouble trying to step on that thing....lol
Ratzo's gonna love this... I think He's just getting over my old spider thread.... lol

You think that is bad? Read up on those things. They are one of the most species of spiders on the planet. They rest about an inch underground waiting for the shadow to fall over them. When they sense the tempreture change they attack. Sometimes they even emit a low noise contributing to the fact that they "scream" when they jump.

Thanks for the info.

A friend of mine that was in Iraq was telling me about them, he said they inject you with a novacaine like venom and will feed on you and you won't even feel it. he wouldn't say what a .223 would do to one.

They "feed" allright. They can incapacitate an entire limb overnight. I didnt bother to watch the vid, But I think it waqs ht one of the guy eating the damn thing. Sick bastard... These spiders are even know to go cannibal and eat other spiders if they get hungry. I read somewhere that they can get up to a foot in length. ::shiver::

Can you imagin looking down at a 1 foot spider that is tearing open your leg and you don't even feel it? I would be money I will dream about that tongiht...

AHH poop!!!
Why did I look!
You guy's with these friggin spider threads damn it!
And I always look too!

They don't inject venom. And they aren't poisonous. I guess I was wrong about the low pitched sound, and they don't go anywhere near 25, although they could prolly beat a smartech on a good day. These things still look evil tho. My buddy Mickey just got over seas about a week ago, And he now has one in a bottle, I'm gonna try to get some pics from him- But It might not happen.

It's not a venom like a poison, it's like novacaine used to numb you at the dentist office. Hmmmm, perhaps the military is wrong.

BTW, your buddy needs to becareful, bringing animals / insects into this country that are not native is against the law unless you have permits.
