hey,
I am missing like 7 screws on my savage and it is at the point now that i can't drive it without feeling unsafe. Anyways, http://www.unc.edu/~miller9/50response.html has a 195 piece screw set for the HPI savage that i thought would be a good investment? What do you guys think COUGPH SKYMAXX coupgh
SKYMaxx knows it all:tank:

Drew

PS::::: Sky maxx or ne other mechanic specialist lol. What are signs of a faulty slipper clutch. Also, do u have to use a slipepr clutch?

Interesting link. I'm thinking that is not quite what you were referring to, but knowing what a girl wants us to know might be important.

As for me knowing it all, I think that I know a lot. In a separate thread, I was proven to not know everything, but that has no bearing on this.

So get us the right link, and we'll tell you what we think. But I can say this, you might be able to find replacement screws that match the Savage's requirements at a hardware store for less than a set might cost you at a LHS.

That is a lot of screws. I have heard of the company.

Stainless steel is a little softer than most steel alloys out there. This might be a decent set, but I know that there will be better ones. Black Oxide steel is a good strong set, but I have not seen a set for the Savage yet.

To be honest, this is the first full replacement screw set that I have some across (thanks for the link).

So is it good? For $22, I'd say decent set. I still suggest that you might find the screws (all seven) of them at a hardware store for a couple bucks, but no way would you find a 195 screw set specifically designed for the Savage there. So I would say this is a good investment.

ok, thank you and all heres an off topic q:OT:. One, are you really in the army/marines/airforce/Navy? On that note have you ever flown an airplane or been in a tank? And, do u have rc planes? I know my dad worked at marta marieta i think it is. they would take Nitro helicopters like 1/4 scales and make them EXACTLY the same as the larger ones and test weapon systems on them and it was really cool. HE said they were good for assasinations because they could be made to look like a childs toy but be deadly. Idk why I'm telling u thjis prolly cause ur nameis skymaxx...

LOL...

I am an Aerospace Engineer by education, and am familiar with Martin Marietta.

Yes, I am currently in the Navy. The FLY NAVY and my icon beneath my name are accurate. The icon is me in the front of an
E-2C Hawkeye. I do not fly them, but I do have over 1500 hours flying in them. Occasionally, a pilot will allow me to fly, but
my job is in the back of the aircraft.

As for the applications of RCs in real world warfare, there are a number of applications, and those numbers are growing.

As for why you are telling me...don't know, but I am glad you did. :D

wow that is so cool. I wish i could fly one of those planes. However, i have bad sinus problems and unless i take degongeston pills and afrin before each flight i feel pain on landings:thumbdown

Skymaxx, where are you loacated at? My grandpa served on a carrier in WW2. I'm Into the Military, and possibly going to be joining the National Guard.

I am located in Hampton Roads, Virginia.

The carriers your grandpa served on and the ones that are in service today are two totally different animals. Your grandpa served on one of many proud ships that helped to defeat the Japanese and keep Germany busy. Today they are but a few very powerful carriers by comparison. I would venture to say that he would be very proud of you for your choice to join the service.
